i do think you have a point in the sense that food related outlets are subject are subject to strict policing on that front so I’m split between the two attitudes: I know how ubiquitous mice are all over London and how hard they are to get rid of, but conversely, I worry that our “well it’s just mice, we’d better get used to it” attitude is counter productive.
incidentally, I think mice mostly make themselves visible at night (from evening to early morning) and in the winter so you seeing them in the day, in the summer, in a very well lit part of the lounge is somewhat worrying when it comes to what must be crawling around those kitchens at night…
