Hyatt House Davis REVIEW - MASTER THRED

Didn't see any other threads on this hotel so posting a review. Mods, please move if there is existing thread.

Hyatt House Davis is a fairly new property thats around 2 years old. Near UC Davis, but not as close as the Hyatt Place UC Davis. Overall a very typical but nice Hyatt House setup with modern rooms, clean space, nice breakfast, popular bar (for whatever reason). Good walking trails around that you can take all the way to downtown Davis (3.5 miles) if you wanted to. Near the freeway, but not much noise from the road however the train can be heard clearly at the property. Small shopping center a quick 5-10 minute walk away with really good house made fresh noodles and dumplings at Yang Kee.

Downsides about the property are: 1) the $10 parking charge for a hotel in off the freeway out in kind of middle of very open space is just wrong and 2) the outlets turn off after 30 minutes of no motion, even the ones near the bedside so its really hard to charge your devices unless you plug them into the walls near the kitchen (in the suites). The outlet thing is likely for energy savings but very poor design near the bed.
