How tight? And are you checking a bag? Are you working in the city center?
Most every hotel will order you a car for about $5 more than normal. They’ll be waiting for you at the exit with a sign. I typically just use the taxis at the airport when I land and schedule a car on the way to the airport. I always schedule a car 2 hours before take off if I don’t have a bag and 2.5 hours if I do check a bag. 30min ish drive to the airport from city center. Add 30min to the schedule if you’re between 12pm and 6pm due to random traffic.
The official taxis are immediately to the right of the KFC after you exit the terminal. Flat rates to anywhere you need. 2500 LEK to the city center ($25 ish) they’ll accept euros as well for a slight increase
I wouldn’t recommend renting a car if you’re staying in Tirana. It’s very walkable and parking is a nightmare 95% of the time.
