On a somewhat related note, past few weeks I have noticed, that on occasion I get lower Hertz rates by going direct to the AAA booking site, rather than thru AutoSlash, even though my AAA membership is reflected there. Thought that was somewhat odd, but then, when does anything to do with car rental booking make sense...
