I'm going to fly Emirates for the first time in December (flying Economy this time), and have a few questions. Do all B777-300ERs have the new flatscreen/touchscreen IFE in Economy? When I select my seats, the first leg of my outbound shows the old IFE in the 'check your seat in 3D' viewer, but the second leg shows the new flatscreen/touchscreen IFE. Both are B777-300ERs. Is that just an error, or is the first leg scheduled to have an aircraft with the old IFE?

Is it correct that row 18 does not have windows on all B777-300ERs?

Luckily one of my four flights is scheduled to be flown with an A380-800. Row 42 has windows, right? I used to check SeatGuru, but that hasn't been accurate in forever, so not sure if it still is for Emirates.

If you have any other seat recommendations, I'd love to hear them. I usually always go for extra legroom when I have to fly Economy, and even though these are going to be long flights, I think I won't be going for an exit row seat this time as I don't want to spend such a long time looking slightly down to a pull out IFE screen and I'm not that tall anyway. Emirates doesn't have any seats with extra legroom that have a seat in front of them right? Like Economy Comfort on KL for example?
