China actually makes it very EASY for businesses to take money from 99.9999% of their customers. Unfortunately, some of us fall into the .0001% of customers for which it’s a real pain.

I personally much prefer today’s payment systems in China over anything in the west for ease of use and definitely prefer it over the pre 2015 cash based system. The only part where the west is better is with rewards, seems the most I can get here is the occasional water boiler or rice cooker.
