Yes, exactly correct. It's within walking distance. Don't get me wrong. Puerto Madero is a very safe area. But it's a totally manufactured modern neighborhood with a bunch of skyscrapers. If I blindfolded you and brought you to the hotel you wouldn't have guessed you were in Buenos Aires. It's just not the "true" Buenos Aires that most people will remember.

If you have Hilton points or a free night certificate or something then it's an ok option but do yourself a favor and stay in Recoleta. A really high end beautiful authentic neighborhood. JMHO.
