You'll need to download the localised McDonald's app. My Australian app did not work.

For Uber/Ubereats, the same app works across different territories. Same with Grab in Southeast Asia - which I've had success with the same app working in Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore and Philippines with an Australian credit card.
