I’m not defending BA here, just ensuring it’s noted that it’s not a safety issue. Is that just an oddity or the general standard of furniture upstairs?
The tubing may not be electric but when i put my hands on the edge of the chair to sit down it caught on my watch wrist strap and I had to carefully disentangle it. Surely that's enough to justify it being dangerous? Also kids could easily be poked in the eye while running around unmonitored by their parents.

As a follow up I have been informed that the offending chair is no longer there. It's probably in the North Lounge or the Concorde Room now!
