This happened to me on an Ansett flight a few years back. I'd worked all day, caught the train from SYD to CBR, spent ALL night at Casino Canberra (drinking copious amounts of alcohol whilst there) and then splashed out on a J fare from CBR to SYD (an indication of the size of my winnings).

I was asleep just after the "Seat belt" sign was extinguished - with seat reclined - and the cabin crew thoughtfully waited until around 75% of the SLC had left before they woke me, meaning I was last one off. Seat stayed reclined throughout.
