I am flying LAX-DCA next week and bought my ticket ~ 5 weeks ago. I put in a GUU request but nothing was available. Today, I signed on and got a message that there was U space available on the return DCA-LAX. I put in the certificates and got confirmed. Nothing on the outbound next Tuesday but a good chance I will be given a complimentary upgrade, fingers crossed.
