AF will try to reroute the bags as quickly as possible over whichever airline will accept it for onward transport. That said, we're in a peak travel season now, so many airlines become reluctant to accept OAL delayed baggage as: (1) they will prioritize delayed baggage from their own pax for limited cargo/baggage space, and (2) operational necessities and constraints limit the discretionary cargo that may be carried.
