Hi everyone,

First time post and very new to the rewards flight redemption. Hoping to get some help from everyone
My family and I (2 adults and 2 young children (1 will be 3 year old, the other one will be 1 year old) are hoping to go to Korea for about a month next Summer in August/September from YVR. We are flexible in dates. I have some aeroplan and avion points saved up, about 100k of each. I read about the sweet spots from YVR to HND and was wondering it was a good idea to fly to Japan first, then to Korea, to take advantage of that sweet spot (35k and 55k). But no matter how much I look, I can only find 2 economy reward seats a year out (for 35k points). I can't book for the whole family. I also thought about getting a business seat for my wife with the new baby (so they can be a bit more comfortable for the long flight), while we sit in economy, but I can't seem to find ANY business seats no matter what dates I look for. My question is:

1) Is going to Japan first, then Korea a good idea for value perspective? Or should I just go directly to Korea?
2) How do I navigate booking for the whole family? (Like I said, complete newbie...sorry)
3) How do I find the business reward seats? I even trialed looking into T-21 seats like the previous posts I saw, but do not see any at all. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? Are they just that popular?
