Just got off the phone with a U.S. based premier agent in Texas, she says she has never heard of taking over an UR booking.
I don’t know that this is specific to UR bookings - UA has always had the ability to ‘take over’ an agency booking. Think the $50 fee has bend there for a long time. Maybe not all agents are as well-versed in it as others?
