Hey everyone! After multiple calls to Hyatt and hours of research, I am still confused as to why I earned points on my stay at Miraval that I booked with points. From what I've been told, you do not earn points on bookings that you booked with points. You do earn points on the incidentals during that stay, but not the cash rate of the reward room.

However, the points that I earned for my stay most definitely came from the cash rate of the room that I booked with points. Any idea why this was the case? Do you actually earn points on the cash rate of the room even if you booked that room with points or used a free night cert? We did have incidental spend during the stay, however, that's not what I earned the points on.
