That's the fault of the airport.
Of course you mention
security, that's not really an issue, the issue is passports, as an EU holder you can use the eGates or fast EU queue, takes no time at all. For example, I presume TAS will be another sleep-destroying middle of the night flight meaning big queues when it gets back to WAW. LOT asked Straż Graniczna to provide additional staff for those morning arrivals but they refused, hence many pax misconnect, but they're all non-EU. But that shouldn't be you, as I understood you were Polish.
I'll probably give TAS a go nevertheless, they usually dump onto the PL market for these routes.
By the way, I suggest a new pair of specs if you think the experience on LHG is better, especially FRA.

There was a sale to NQZ a couple of weeks ago on LO. It was cheap! 1000PLN KRK-NQZ.
