My recent (8 June 2023) flight from Toronto to Phoenix in Premium Rouge had only one redeeming feature. It was the only direct flight to PHX. Normally I would try a connection to avoid Rouge, but the only other flights available were via YVR and SFO with difficult connection issues.
It started out with AC sending a text message directing me to the wrong gate. On board I had the usual AC breakfast of a Parsley omelette and things went downhill from there. Rouge no longer has the tablets they used to hand out for the IFE, so nothing to view or listen to during the the 4 hour 40 minute flight. The only FA in attendance was unable or unwilling to prevent Y class passengers coming forward to use the J class lavatory. In addition Y class friends of some J class passengers frequently came forward to visit these friends and even to sit in empty J seats. I brought these issues to the attention of the FA, only to have her apologize, and saying there was little she could do as it would appear that AC doesn't care to enforce the class rules in Rouge. I did complete one of AC's surveys asking me how I "enjoyed" my Rouge flight. I gave most of my experience a 0 rating. Perhaps next time I travel to Phoenix, I'll put up with the inconvenience of connections rather then fly Rouge again.
