CPH Apartment is kinda OK-ish until you end up there a few times a month on average and the food hasn't changed for a year, with always the same omelettes in the morning or pasta/rice thing in the afternoon.
BCN Pau Casals at least has a larger selection of things, not to mention no syrup tap coca cola/sprite/fanta and a better selection of beers, but to call the food there good is also an overstatement.
Still beats VLC though, where they used to have a fridge with pre-packaged sandwiches. That fridge is gone, and the pre-packaged sandwiches are now unpacked, cut in two and put on a plate. So with a bit of luck, they just put "new ones" there, but it's likely the bread is all dried out by the time you cave and eat one anyway because you're hungry.
I'd much rather have the fridge with pre-packaged ones back. Even though they weren't freshly made, there was a selection of them (ham and cream cheese, chicken, egg salad, cheese, tuna salad iirc and some others) and the bread was preserved pretty well due to the packaging.
