I recently emailed BA with the birth certificate of my daughter and got a response quickly regarding both mine and my wife's extensions granting them and also adding the 1,000 avios to my daughter's account.

The avios was added immediately, but my card expiry date remains 31st October 2023, and my wife's remains 31st August 2023. Did it take some time for these to update or was the status update reflected upon receiving the email? I don't want to chase them unnecessarily if it takes a couple of weeks. I received the email confirming the extensions on the 16th of June.

Feeling extremely lucky to still be gold till October 2024, despite last qualifying through tier point collection in 2019.
