I was trying to just visit as a day trip from Amritsar, hence the short turnaround time. But either way, the invitation process was quick and painless.
I see. I was hoping just to fly into Lahore for a few days and walk around the walled city and hadn't planned on a formal tour. Maybe I've got to rethink whether what I hope to do is even possible given the visa situation. Many thanks.
