is it better to just apply for renewal and just pay $50
if he does apply for renewal now, and let's say it gets approved next month - when is the expiration?
side question - does he need to apply for renewal now or even card replacement if his info already got updated from the Nexus office?
wouldn't the border officer see a updated info?
I think you're confused.
Replace card just mails him a new Nexus card. Has nothing to do with anything else.. He'll get a Nexus card saying he's a Canadian citizen. Nothing else happens/changes.
His current card wont reflect his current citizenship. Presenting it can actually be a violation as it is no longer correct.
