Frustrating experience with Amex elite nights posting to Bonvoy

Hi - I've been trying in vain to have my Amex elite nights credited properly to my account. I opened an Amex Business Bonvoy card in late May. There wasn't a spot to enter my existing bonvoy account # on the amex app, so a new one was created and the 15 elite nights were deposited into it within days of card account opening.

I was told by Marriott and Amex to merge that Bonvoy account with my "primary" account. Upon merging, the elite nights didn't transfer over and I cannot use the 7% Amex biz discount on the Marriott app or website (it doesn't show up). I've now spent hours on the phone with amex and bonvoy and opened 2 cases with Marriott. Each case has been denied by Marriott's case specialists.

First they said the nights were, in fact, deposited. No - those 15 were from my Chase consumer credit card as I explained to the phone reps. Then they said i need to wait 60 days and to contact amex. No, amex has sent the nights to the newly created Bonvoy account and can no longer do anything. Everyone on the phone at Bonvoy is compassionate and understands the issue after explanation and they can even see the 15 amex nights sitting in the now closed "new" account. The last supervisor i spoke to on the Elite line said she's seen this before and doesn't think the nights will get credited properly based on her prior experience. What?

Does anyone have a way to actually get the case specialists to read the cases and fix this issue? Can Marriott Bonvoy Lurker help? I'm at my wits end with this. I have no use for the credit card if I don't receive the elite nights.
