Florida is a great state, with many wonderful people, attractions, and theme parks, but this thread is making me happy I don't live there.
I'm glad to know this particular bug is clean, probably well read, with a great sense of humor, but I'd still want to call the front desk and ask them to squash it, remove it from my room, or relocate it to an outdoor bug sanctuary.
