I dislike the Centric myself but I’ve stayed at the Grand hundreds of nights over the last decade so I’m biased. The Grand is older for sure but well kept. The locations are key here too. Centric is smack dab in the middle of Ginza (daytime shopping nighttime hostess bar capital of Tokyo). Grand is at Roppongi Hills which is a high end mall and has a lot of great shops and restaurants easily accessible. Roppongi has calmed down DRAMATICALLY in terms of nightlife and it’s generally a lot more normal and quiet these days than pre Covid.

Neither hotel will be bad. No bad choices here.
¥135,000 with the current conversion rate of $1 ~ ¥140 comes out to $964, so I would say 25,000 points is a good redemption...

Otherwise, I think GH overall is nicer based on location, amenities, gym/spa/swimming pool, etc. Personally the smaller rooms at GH don't bother me as much as I find the rooms to be very well outfitted and functional.
