The romantic restaurant on the water at the Surf & Sand Hotel is called Splashes - be sure & ask for a table off the bar on the window - these are closest to the water! The casual, but spectacular view dining is the Laguna Village Cafe - it's in a grouping of little stores on the beach - the view is better than the food... The spectacular new Montage Resort has two wonderful restaurants, Studio & The Loft - I get confused as to which has the best ocean view. Also in Laguna & not on the water, but excellent food is Cafe Zoolu and 230 Forest. Enjoy!

P.S. I think Diamond Street Beach is the most romantic in Laguna
