So you're saying if you want the breakfast at the restaurant then no 600 points? Earlier this year when I was at the ANA Narita, I was given a choice of either 600 points or breakfast. Since I had a morning flight out of NRT, there was no time for breakfast. I just went for the points even though it was a terrible offer. Better than nothing I guess.
Not too sure if you want to explore other IHG hotels and see if you can get better value for your points or cash? The current rate is really very expensive. I booked in early Jan for my recent stay in June and at that time, the hotel room rate was around 40,000 Yen a night for a junior suite. Now the classic room is well beyond 40K a night, let alone a junior suite.
Yes, as a diamond member,you can either opt for 600 points or breakfast. Breakfast will definitely be a better deal as the breakfast spread is pretty decent (pre-covid days). Even when I was there during Xmas last year, it was packed with guests having breakfast in the morning.
