Perhaps also clickbait in your view, but I believe previous CEO was embarrassed into donating to charity a generous bonus that had been paid to him, and millions in bonuses were paid to other management during Covid. It's no surprise that pilots are now looking for significant improvements.

Indeed, not directed at you, but the CEO argument doesn't stand water. Although... the article quoted by rankourabu was absolutely click bait. Just look back to Ben & Jerry's who had a rule that the gap between the lowest paid employee and the highest couldn't be more than X-times multiple (8x if I recall). When they sold to Unilever, that condition was removed as a sine qua non. If the Union uses that arguent in negotiations, they're toast. It only plays in the court of public opinion, which is weak minded.
