I just returned State side via LX (a330). I would say i liked the food on LX, but would give plating to LO. Drink cart service on LX was more active - many passes through the aisle to ensure folks' glasses were filled. The in-flight snacks were great too.

I prefer the blankets on LX as they werent as scratchy as LO and would say aisle access was easy enough to obtain as only one column has the 2 seats where window means no aisle (left column). Cabin was warm before take off but LX cooled the cabin very well snd it was definitely more comfortable to sleep than on LO (which is a shame given LO was the redeye).

I gotta say, the LX amenity kit is the worst I have ever gotten on a biz flight. It is basically a colored ziplock sized bag with just socks, eyemask, toothbrush/paste and earplugs. It will not drive my decision making when picking a flight/airline, but this definitely is not something that will help advertise the LX brand. It contrasts so hard against the Swiss image of luxury and quality.

In the end I think folks should mainly pick for convenience to your final destination given they're the same alliance anyhiow. If you fly enough, always fun (at least it is for me) to switch it up and try them all eventually.v
