Yeah, on it now.... I didn't ask. I did ask if I could get a cheese plate and the FA said there were none when, thankfully, another pax reminded her that he had opted out of his so there should be one. So, I should at least have that coming but we'll see. Luckily, I brought some of my own food. I was #14 to get asked and could have had a black bean ravioli (yuk) and opted for nothing (until the cheese plater came about). Pax #15/16 are just out of luck... except I suppose now one can have my ravioli.
There's also this funny thing that comes about with upgrades and food... I've often got lightly scolded/informed that I should pre-order my meal. Yeah, thanks... if you process my upgrade prior to T-20 hours I understand that but when it's at T-8 hours that's not possible. I'm surprised the FAs don't realize/remember that when handing out "advice." Obviously, this all falls into the category of first-world problems and I'm just glad to get an upgrade but it's surprising AS isn't more on the ball. After all, putting 16 meals on a flight with 16 FC seats is pretty low-hanging fruit.
