How is it on a flight with 16FC seats they run out of meals after 14 people??? I get it that the options might get trimmed down but not even enough meals for each FC guest to get something? Back in 2016/2017 when JetBlue Mint was still kind of/sort of new, they only catered 12 meals on redeyes for 16 seats. Usually they could get away with it, but I knew one flight attendant who picked up a few sushi trays on BOGO so (1) he could have dinner and (2) he could offer *something* in case they ran out of food. He told me he ran out of food once and was actually short three meals, but they then hit 90 minutes of turbulence and by the time it was smooth enough to serve food most pax had fallen asleep.
