AA codeshare on GOL operated flight - baggage

Hi all

I’m hoping someone may have some experiences to share.

I have booked flights in PE from GIG to DFW via GRU. The GIG to GRU sector is an AA code on a GOL (G3) flight but booked into economy for that leg.

I can’t work out if I will get AA baggage limits or have to buy a bag on the GOL flight.

The ticket email says “partner airline limits will apply” but that depends on the ticket purchased with GOL. The AA code fare class is M - obviously that has no meaning for GOL.

GOL’s website says it will honour partner airline limits when there is a partner segment in the booking.

I’m also OWE (but not AA emerald) so would usually be entitled to additional bags on AA.

The GOL booking code won’t let me select seats or anyway manage the booking, but does show the flights (incl. the PE sector) as “Light” fare which implies I’ll have to pay for bags on a PE fare??

Appreciate any experiences.

TL;DR: how do bags work on an AA code on G3 metal, when the initial segment is G3 operated.
