Finally, closure on how to book the *A RTW that their website will not let you finish. Email contacted at
[email protected] got a response:
"Thank you for your interest in our Star Alliance Round the World fare. Due to technical reasons it has not been possible to finish the booking process online. Should you be interested in receiving a manual offer, we kindly ask you to provide us with the full names of all travelers (according to their passports) in the following format:"
and I responded in the affirmative with traveler info, and later:
"Thank you for your Star Alliance Book and Fly request. Please check your reservation regarding correct passenger name, proposed flights and travel dates. You will receive a separate e-mail with your current itinerary and price details. Please note that the price quoted is subject to change without notice. If you are interested in this offer, please confirm your reservation no later than June 22, 2023. If we do not receive a reply from you by then, your reservation will be automatically canceled on June 23, 2023.
Please kindly advise us preferred phone number and local time and we will call you upon your confirmation for payment."
I had sent them my code that I'd been using to save dates/flights and sent that to them. Later in the day I got a message with that exact itinerary listed, followed by the rules, and it looks like calendar (.ics) entries for each flight - which impressed me. Looks like it's on.
