I wasn't expecting a GS check-in but they only had two lines: Economy and Premier. So Silver through GS plus Business passengers were in one line to check bags, etc. plus they had the contract "security" folks checking passports, asking the questions about destination, bags etc immediately before you got a chance to even get to the check-in counter. When the flight is a 772, that's a lot of people in the Premier check-in line.
