UK Marriott Family Rooms - Max. Child Age?
I am a newbie at traveling in the UK (England & Wales). I am aware that in contrast to the USA, room occupancy limits are strictly enforced in Europe. I have been looking at booking family rooms for my family of 3 (Mom, Dad, and 1 Child). I am seeing different max. age limits for children. Some are 16 and some are 18. Will I have trouble if I book a family room where the max. age of child is 16 and my child is 17? By the letter of the law it is a no go. Is there typically any leniency on this or is it a bad idea? I would most likely write (or call) the specific Marriott properties I am considering to verify before staying. Before doing so, I thought I would get a general sense of if there is some leeway on the max. age from the FT community.
Thanks,
Jon
