Just back from a weekend trip - flights operated by Wizz, booked via Lastminute.com. Delay on outbound flight, text from flightclaim.me received within a few days.
This is not just a BA issue, adds weight to the data breach originating from the supply chain.
Text stated I could be entitled to up to £540. Guess this is assuming that my flight was over 3,500km, which it wasn’t (and that the arrival delay was more than 3 hours - again it wasn’t). Indicates that the leak knows the flight was delayed, but not the specific details.
Looks like a breach in the GDS, probably someone, or something, running reports daily. Most people probably ignore, and a tiny amount comment here. Probably tens of thousands of texts going out weekly.
