that's too much for this route IMO. They often offer MUC-BOS for $800. Which booking class is the upgrade from? Can you use miles, vouchers, plus points?

$1k maybe ... $1.5k ... nope.

If you want to bid $1.5k ... yes, I think it has a reasonable chance of being accepted
