Am concerned a bit about my UA333 BOS to LAX connecting onwards to UA 839 LAX SYD. Last several flights arrived LAX close to, or after takeoff flight for SYD. Only UA flight to SYD but appears there is a later QA flight. Oh well, hope for the best and inflight t-mobile is operable



UPDATE:
The Good: BOS LAX United flight actually landed a bit early and our gate for follow on flight to SYD was next over.
The BAD: LAX SYD United flight Monday night delayed takeoff over an hour and strong headwinds across entire Pacific delayed my arrival into SYD, then we had to sit on taxiway for 20 minutes for gate to open.
The UGLY: Delay, plus immigration, customs and security caused me to miss my SYD PER connection, so UA rebooked me on a follow on with QANTAS. FlightStats app showed this flight delayed over an hour each 3 nights in a row!
The WORST: When UA tried to do right thing rebooking me to Qantas, somehow, my return flight PER MEL to DFW to RIC was cancelled. You can imagine the funny look I had when the nice Qantas agent informed my here in Perth. glad I arrived for my flight 3 hours early. It took her, and two supervisors to unscramble what UA did on Wednesday to secure my seat home! Thank you Qantas! Nice try UA. You didn’t cover yourselves in glory this trip!
