1) Air Kenya and Safarilink maybe the most commonly choose air carrier you can choose from WIlson-Keekorok. As long as their website have available ticket and payment procedure doesn't have any errors, I would like to choose to book on my own. Information back and forth between you and hotel take much time than usual, everything under your control is top priority.

2) You could have 1-2nights stay in Nairobi before heading to Masai Mara, I would choose to keep luggage beyond allowance at hotel concierges that I stay or expect to stay, definitely free and save over airport. Anything unusual happen on your luggage, talk to hotel guest services better than airport staff.

3) Park entrance fee $70/pp,they mentioned could put onto room charge with bonvoy point credit back. If you stay long, could try to get annual pass for Masai Mara about $400 per year. Hotel cannot do any help on this, I still work on this since 16 nights could save a lot for me.

We just finalized our flights to/from Nairobi and are working on all of the other logistics now. A few quick questions though.

1) The resort has offered to book our flights for $400 RT per person. The links they provided to the different air carriers in their initial email shows we could get it for slightly less. Any advantage with having the resort do it for us? Will we get extra Bonvoy points if we let them handle it?

2) Since we'll be traveling first from the West Coast to Europe and then onwards to Kenya, are there any luggage storage options at Wilson airport since it would appear they are pretty strict with how much luggage you can bring?

3) The daily park entrance fee was originally quoted at $70USD per person, per day regardless of whether we choose to go out on a game drive or not. In the reconfirmation email I was quoted $80USD. Did others come across that slight discrepancy as well?

Lastly, if anyone is curious to read an early review of the property, I came across one here. Can't wait!
