So they had to go get another A330 basically and decided to swap with one in Seattle on the ground? Interesting. Im familiar with ETOPS but what kind of mechanical would be minor enough to allow a 2 hour flight path diversion with no urgency but NOT allow them to operate the ETOPS HNL route?
