Point remains though, if you sit in the first few rows in CE (like I do), you can disembark and be at baggage within 15-20 mins from landing. Many people far further back don't get there for another 10-15 minutes later, so for them their bags are arriving swiftly.

And 'priority' hasn't been a thing for many years now. I'd say even pre-pandemic it was mostly ignored. Indeed, if you check-in early, your bag is often last to arrive, priority or otherwise.

I've flown a fair number of times this year and, so far, I've not waited more than an average 30 minutes for a bag, either at LHR or destination airport and I'm often first or close to first at the baggage carousel - a 30 minute wait isn't drastic for me. It's not rant-worthy on a forum, for sure.
