Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS) is actually on Eglin Airforce Base, so if there is anything "airforce related" going on, commercial flights have to use the runways out in the back 40, I swear, that feel like they are in another state. Departing or landing, you can taxi for a long, long time.

Granted, it's been a while since I've flown out of there, so things might have changed.
