This issue that caught some buzz lately on different blogs, was related to a small base of members who transferred points from other loyalty programs to LifeMiles and the points did not show up/were available to use immediately into their LifeMiles account; despite having confirmation from the partner and LifeMiles itself that the transfer was successful. This issue only affected a very small number of clients that had a specific configuration of their accounts, that affected the immediate transfer.
Once again, this issue is now 100% fixed and all transfers from banks in the US to LifeMiles happen in real time; this means point transfers to LifeMiles are available to redeem flights in LifeMiles.com immediately.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused to our affected members and assure you no miles were lost in the process.
Keep enjoying LifeMiles redemption offers; happy travel!

Hopefully this is the end of it then. I transferred 100,000+ from Amex in December and it took nearly 3 weeks for points to become usable despite assurances from phone reps that I only need to wait the next day (and being told that repeatedly over several days). Ended up transferring to Aeroplan to book the flights I needed.
