With the old USB cards when I had a failed load I would call the number on the back of the card, and if it let me check my balance I knew the card was not fraud locked. When the card was fraud locked it wouldn’t let me check my balance, I would immediately be transferred to a representative, and they would explain the situation and immediately release the lock. It was a total PITA and I stopped using them. I only decided to try them again once they changed the packaging. Fortunately the new $6.95 cards have been working perfectly for me. I’ve loaded many at WM in the past couple of months with no issues at all.
Hmm, that’s concerning. When I call I’m able to check my balance and don’t get transferred at all which would suggest no fraud lock.
Have you been able liquidate the 5.95 or 6.95 VGC without changing pin?
