I’ve found all of the NY properties to be good at proactively removing the “destination” fees.
I do sometimes wonder if Hyatt have any incentive to try and automatically remove it when booking as a Globalist. It’s a little satisfying to see the (often outrageous) destination / resort fees during booking and know that you won’t have to pay them because of your status.
If they didn’t show the fees during the booking process I wonder if I’d realise how much “value” I get out of having status. I usually wouldn’t consider it as “saving” since in most cases I would just choose to stay someplace else if I was going to have to pay the fees.
