Then today in MCO from LGW, I was at baggage claim for at least half an hour waiting for my supposedly priority bag. The wildest things was seeing maybe 5-10 bags a minute come out--like a leaky faucet drip drip drip instead of a stream. Does BA only pay one person to do all the work and he needs to rest or...?
OK, rant over.
By the way, the flight crew on both segments were excellent. And I really enjoyed the BA First lounge at Gatwick. So it's not all doom and gloom. Just wish BA would get their act together when it comes to timely delivery of checked bags.
30 minutes is pretty good to get all the containers off a full B777, drive them to the terminal bag system, and then unloaded the containers by hand onto the belt system and the system deliver the bags to the correct belt in the baggage hall. Don't see how they could have done it any quicker to be honest.
