Agree with you 100%. Hampton by Hilton is predictable and consistent in the way that the full service brands simply aren’t in the UK. No surprises. And breakfast is also predictable and (with some exceptions) consistent but not great quality (canned peaches, anyone?!) and it’s not cook-to-order like for instance HGI would be. But I guess given it’s included for all guests what to do. Unless the brand standard is changed but even then they might not improve the food!!!
Yeah, it's not like UK Hamptons are cheaper than HGIs or even full Hilton / DTs in the same locations, once in a while the Hampton is even the most expensive (e.g. York, Glasgow) there is no real reason why they can't improve the food other than people are gobbling it down anyway.
Although Hamptons are the only Hilton brand where I see guests pile a full load of the powdered egg on their plate, have a bite and the leave the rest of it
