OGG (Maui) is pretty bad.... AS usually flies out of the lower # gates at the west end of the airport and the whole thing is terrible. The food/drink options are minimal, the seating is old and planes are VERY often delayed which results in crowds of people crammed into small spaces while waiting. The only lounge is HA and is the biggest joke of a lounge I've ever seen. No food or drink. Just some tables/chairs and a pop machine. There is a "food court" consisting of a Burger King, Calf Pizza and a hot dog joint but it's all ridiculously expensive and crowded. Sammy's (Hagar) restaurant is okay if you want a $14 beer or $25 burger. The overall experience is crap.... and everyone is pissed because they are leaving their dream vacation so the general vibe just sucks.
