Just as Deimos said above, correct status is shown instantly on your EuroBonus account status page on the SAS website. Regarding the "pack" with new card etc it took about 1 month until I got mine.

You can use your Gold-priviliges to some extent as soon as it's registered in SAS' system. Lounge access is for example allowed even without having recieved your new card.
