But I think if you email K2 with detailed information and photos, at least you have a record of having reported the issue, and there's lesser chance of them wiggling out of helping you.
Thank you. I'll do that. I still have absolutely no idea how to get a report number from BA. The website says you can do it online, but there doesn't appear a place to do this. There is no one on the phone who can tell you what to do either. I might just get it fixed myself... more trouble than it's worth (like you, it seems).
