Had a recent stay at the Boston Marriott Newton. Hotel is about 15 miles west of the airport and downtown Boston proper. Not convenient at all if you needed to be in the city, but the property is situated near two major highways out in the suburbs (I-90 and I-95 aka "128" to the locals).
Check-in was expeditious and friendly. Hotel is built into a hill so the lobby is on Floor 4.
I booked a King balcony room, which was located "down" on Floor 2. Standard room and bathroom - no complaints. Power outlets plentiful, water pressure was good, no issues with HVAC. Desk was a bit on the small side. Having a little balcony with a quiet view of the Charles River was nice to relax in the mornings/evenings.
Concierge lounge is on Floor 7 and only open in the evenings (from Sun-Thurs, 4-10pm, I believe). No breakfast in the lounge since lounge doesn't open until afternoon. Only had a chance to drop by one afternoon - water and Pepsi beverages in the cooler. Not many food options, but appreciated that it was a relatively healthy selection - meat/cheese board, veggie tray, mixed salad, fruit bowl. I believe there were also some baked goods as well. Honor bar in the lounge - nothing terribly exciting but prices were very reasonable (about $5 for a beer, $6 for wine/spirits). Just fill out the card, and the attendant will use it to charge your room.
Breakfast buffet in the lobby restaurant had a made-to-order omelette station, along with the basic spread of carbs, fruit, hot dishes (eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes), and try of smoked salmon. Dinner in the restaurant was standard overpriced hotel prices, but food was quite tasty.
There is a gated parking lot; daily parking I believe is $14.
